[closed | NSFW] AU: satisfying an innocent(?) monster

[ Otegine knew about the Sadamune family's secret from Kikkou. That man.... surely he just wanted to rile up a long-time friend with something shocking, right? There's no way that Monoyoshi is an incubus like the rest of his family (except Kikkou, who the bloodline skipped). He's selfless, patient... They're supposed to be lustful demons that crave sex in order to survive. But out of all things to indicate it true, the first one was a troubled Kikkou. ]

"Until the time comes, you shouldn't let Monoyoshi know that you're aware of our 'family trade'. He's been fond of you for a long time, but feared telling you, in case you took issue with his unfaithfulness. You're a bastard child of the Tokugawa family, I'm sure he considered that. Of course... you know better than to hurt him, I hope? ❤ "

[ That's... a little frightening, what Kikkou said with a smile at the end. But Otegine kept his word, and Kikkou undoubtedly loved his younger brother. Monoyoshi tried very hard to live like a human. Going out with friends, sleeping over, studying late... But Kikkou, as the leader of the family, told Otegine the secret with genuine concern in his voice: Monoyoshi hasn't "fed" for much longer than any incubus should. Kikkou helps him and the other incubi find good "targets", but Monoyoshi keeps turning them down or cancelling. He's not selfish enough when his peers have been needing him for schoolwork. Or maybe he had some other reason. ]

Mono... Monoyoshi? Hey...

[ They two of them are watching a show together on the TV and snacking on food, hanging out quietly like as if it were a normal afternoon for them together. Otegine sets the remote down on the table, but turns his body to look at his friend next to him on the couch. ]

You look pale... Are you okay? Should I call Kikkou to take you home? Or take you to the clinic?

[To prove that point, he places his hand near Monoyoshi's and the difference is very apparent. Without any comment, Otegine leans over Monoyoshi's smaller body that's slumped a little. Even if Monoyoshi doesn't want to meet his gaze, that is genuine concern on his face. Even when he knows the truth. Feigning confusion hopefully won't be a front he has to hold up for too long. ]
