[ Otegine had been scheduled for late shifts lately at work. He wasn't bothered too much by it, he could have some of his afternoons with Monoyoshi still, before they both had to... "work". The older man didn't mind that part of their relationship either. He knew Monoyoshi had to feed, and Otegine couldn't always be his meal. As Kikkou told the two, gently yet frankly, an incubus relying on one person to feed off of could have adverse effects on the human. They could slip into a coma from the exhaustion, or even die.
Monoyoshi would never put someone so precious to him at risk. But he was young, so some of the things that he had to do were weighing down him. To keep himself and Otegine healthy... He had to sleep with other people. Some of those who weren't always the best kind of partner, even when Kikkou did his best to match up good pairs according to preferences and kinks.
When Otegine arrives home, he sees Monoyoshi's shoes. He's always welcome, but it's a bit of surprise when it's this late. He looks around before finding Monoyoshi in his bed. Did he fall asleep waiting for him? His relief fades though, seeing the younger man curled up with a pillow and a troubled look on his face, eyes closed. Otegine climbs onto the bed. ]
Hey, Monoyoshi...? It's me, I'm home.
[ He shakes him by the shoulder. They haven't... done it in a while. That's understandable, and Monoyoshi would reassure him that he fed with Kikkou verifying it if he asked. Maybe though, something else was bothering him? He did seem to feel self-conscious ever since Otegine found out what he really was. Again, the older man didn't let it change how he felt towards his old friend... But even so, it's hard to convey that with just words.
So, he leans over and down, kissing Monoyoshi on the lips. ]
